Jake von Chipling is a large boned 10 month old black Labrador with a touch of German Shepherd. Jake is such a sweet heart, he doesn’t understand why all creatures don’t love him as much as he loves them. Some Chihuahuas rushed him at their fence, he seemed shocked and he backed up and looked crushed. Jake has kind eyes, we know so many adopters are touched by a dogs eyes, Jake has thick legs like posts and large paws; he is a gentle giant in the making. We guess he will be around 90 pounds when full grown. He needs some training, but he wants to be a good boy which is half the battle. He is good in the car and seemed to enjoy a ride; of course all the dogs enjoy a trip out of the shelter. Jake is sponsored by one of our adopters who lives out of state, Jakes’ sweet face reminded him of the dog he adopted from us, when he saw Jake on the red list, he knew he had to do something.
